The client asked APTSE to negotiate the sale price of metal scrap generated at one of its plants in the Netherlands. The objective was to select the winning bidder and award a one-year contract for the management of the scrap metal.

Four companies participated in the process.

  • Initial selling price before the e-auction: €209,945.38
  • Final best price after the e-auction: €266,804.69
  • Price increase achieved: 27.08%
